Week 1: The Call of Abram
Genesis 12:1–9 • KJV
Read the Scripture
“Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:”
Genesis 12:1 (KJV)
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”
Genesis 12:2 (KJV)
Understand the Portion
God called Abram to leave the familiar and follow Him toward a destination Abram had not yet seen. Abram's response shows that faith includes trusting God's direction, even without knowing every detail.
- Faith sometimes calls us beyond what is comfortable.
- God can guide us one step at a time.
- God's blessings equip us to bless others.

Devotionals & Reflections
Short Scripture-centered reflections to help you carry God's Word into everyday life.
Be Still and Trust God
Psalm 46:10 — Being still is not giving up. It is remembering that God remains faithful when answers are not yet clear.
Reflect: What burden can you surrender to God today?
Pray: Lord, help me trust Your wisdom and timing. Amen.
Strength for Today
Isaiah 40:31 — Waiting on the Lord is an expression of hope, not defeat.
Reflect: Where do you need renewed strength?
Pray: Lord, renew my strength as I wait on You. Amen.
A Light for the Journey
Psalm 119:105 — God's Word guides our next steps, even when the whole road is not visible.
Reflect: What Scripture can guide a decision you face?
Pray: Father, direct my steps through Your Word. Amen.

Know Jesus
God loves you (John 3:16). Jesus Christ came to save (Luke 19:10). Scripture calls us to repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15). Salvation is God's gift of grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Begin by reading the Gospel of John, praying sincerely, and connecting with a Bible-believing church.
